This is a true story

Candace

The clear morning means a good thing going to start; a family just bought a house from an old man. The garden with an apple tree and a swing hang on the tree. The house was big and beautiful. Everything looks fine, but it wasn’t fine. The Rumely family has the best people ever. Molly is a young cute girl; her step mom is Liana and her dad Michael. Molly lost her mom from a car accident when she was two, she don’t even see her mom yet. But luckily, Liana was a good mom, too. She loves to care and cook for her family, she always the best person to talk to in this family. Michael is a great dad, too. He is a doctor and he never believes in ghost and imagine friend. Molly didn’t have an imagine friend until she come and live in this house. She asked Liana to let Candace leave in this house and promise she will be good. Molly really talks to Candace and tells story about her. She told her step mom about Candace and she believe her mom will happy with her friend,
“Liana, you can see Candace, can’t you?”
“No I can’t, honey,” Liana answer surprise
“I can, she has curly brown and black hair, cold lips and blue eyes!”
“Oh, Molly, Do you want her to live in our house?”
“Yes, can she?”
“Yes, of course, everything you like, my dear!”
“Thank you!”
Liana really doesn’t believe in Candace. But one day, she found a weird thing in
Her basement. It’s a box include someone’s hair, finger nail and a picture someone took with a hole on a man’s face. She get it down and put it in her own room. A weird thing is Molly, the girl always talk with Candace and has little accident which she thought Candace is the girl who makes it. One day, she decided to talk to Liana,
“Liana, do you think Candace is a good girl?” said Molly, sadly voice.
“Oh honey, I think she Ok, she is your friend you know!” Liana kisses Molly.
“Candace wants you to return that thing that you took in the basement.”
“Molly, how do you know about it?” Liana said with a very surprise face.
“Candace told me and she want you to return it right tonight.”
“Get some sleep, Molly. I’ll return it,” Liana took Molly to bed.
Liana got a bad feeling about her daughter’s friend. Candace can’t be an imagine friend. How does she know about the thing that Liana found in the basement? Why does Molly always said that Candace make her accident? Did Candace really exist? There no answer for those question yet.
That night, Liana came back to the basement and put the thing she found in the right place. But she saw a scratch on the pink wallpaper. She turned back and looks for some clues, she pulled the wallpaper out and a door appears. Liana feels cold and scare, at last she open the secret door. This room seems to be a bedroom




for a girl, very old. Liana picks up a photo and look at it slowly. Her attention all get to a man, a face which is the same of the one she saw in the weird thing. Liana took the thing and ran down and called Michael,
“Michael, do you know there is an extra room in our house?”
“What extra room, darling?” replied Michael
“The bedroom in the basement, you have to see it Michael,” Liana pulled his hand and ran to the basement.
“Honey, that’s amazing.” Michael touched the bed; it’s old but still good and beautiful.
“Michael! What are you thinking? This room in our house and this weird thing and you say its amazing?” said Liana angrily
“You work so hard and this is a kind of magic to kill or murder someone for kids to play, you don’t need to be so worry!”
“Michael, you are-!”
“Darling, let’s get some sleep and I’ll destroy this silly thing that make you tired,”
Michael pulled Liana to bed and he has a bad feeling about Liana and Molly. Then Liana pregnant and she decide to tell Michael. She goes to his hospital,
“Michael, I have a great new for you!”
“Not thing better when you and I got a baby, but that will not happen,” said Michael sadly.
“Oh, “But that will not happen” and now I am pregnant_,” replied Liana.
“Honey, you’re pregnant? We are going to have new room and we will…” Michael stops and looks at the picture of Molly.
“Oh, so we are not going to tell Molly, Ok?” Liana replied.
Michael knows that he had a good choose. Soon, Liana came back to their home and play with Molly and her friend. She had to closed he eyes and find the kids. Then she heard a girl sound, very very quiet sound but it too clear. Liana walked and walked and thought Molly is right there, waiting for her. Then a loud sound of Molly,
“Liana, stop!”
Liana opened her eyes and the first thing she saw is the stairs, she nearly fall down! Molly yelled,
“Candace, stop it, stop it!”
“Molly, honey, what did she say?” Liana asked.
“Candace says sorry,” Molly replied.
Liana don’t really like Candace and believe in her. But a weird story had make Liana change her mind. Liana visited her best friend house, Darren. He is a doctor. A weird thing that an old woman sits next to Darren asked,
“Do you always take your daughter to your friend house?”
“Uh, um, no. Why do you asked, miss?” Liana replied
“Your daughter is very cute. Hi Candace!”
Liana ran to her car and prepared to drive then Darren came out and stopped her,
“Sorry, I know Ms. Rosa don’t wanted to scare you,” Darren said





“Candace, she’s talking about Candace and Molly, too. Everything is scary to me!” Liana replied.
“Oh, I believe that you have a very strange family and house!”
“What did Rosa say next?”
“Candace is a bad girl something and she tell me to give you this, it can keep you save from her,” he hand Liana a necklace.
“Ok, thank you, a lot. Some time please visit me.”
Then Liana went back home. Molly ran to her and said,
“Liana, are you going to have a baby?”
“Um, Molly you are going to have a new friend,” said Liana
“Oh, no. Candace said that the baby will die, and she said you are not my mom; you’re her mom, too. I don’t like her anymore!”
Then Molly’s chair fell down, she nearly hit her head! Liana ran to help her but she was standing up by her self and yelled,
“Candace, stop it, stop it. I don’t wanted to play with you anymore and you are very bad,”
“Molly, honey, its Ok now. She can’t hurt you, I’ll protect you!” Liana holed Molly and kissed her.
“No, Candace was a bad girl; she can hurt you, too!”
“Oh, sweetie, maybe we can tell Candace to get out so she can’t hurt us, Ok?” Liana replied quietly.
“CANDACE! GET OUT OF OUR HOUSE!” Molly yelled and cried.
Then the house was very noisy, the windows and winds pulled and knock out the door. But after that, everything is quiet again. That night Liana, her husband and Molly slept quietly and they all have good dream. But something was very bad is happening. Will Candace left the house that she had leaves for nearly ninety years? Let’s find out.
Next morning, Molly invited one of her best friend to visit her house so Molly and Diana played in the garden. They played with the swing and it seems to be very fun. Liana sat in the armchair, relaxes and drank some coffee. She looked at the kids playing and smiled very happy. Then a horrible sound in the kitchen and Liana ran to see what happen in there. Just a few bows falling down for the table. Then she came back and Molly and Diana were gone. “Candace was up to this!” she thought.
Then Liana ran every where to find her daughter and Diana. She heard a kid’s voice from the basement then she ran to it. The door is lock! She took a chair and broke down that basement door. But there was just Diana, she was crying and called her mom. Liana let Diana walked home then she ran to find Molly. At last, she found her; Molly was sitting in front of a RIP and said something. Liana ran over and asked,
“Oh, honey. What are you doing? I was so worry about you!”
“Liana, I am sorry. I don’t want you to be up sad about me. Candace told me this is he parent so I have to pray them you know it!” Molly replied.
“Sweetie, let’s come back. I will make you some brownies, Ok?”




“Yay, you’re the best Liana!” Molly ran back to the house.
The day after, Liana came back to see the two RIP that Molly had pray to. That is “The land of god”. Every good people were here. The RIP said “Sarah Dinsmore and Tony o’ Mallel dead in November 11th, 1945. Then Liana knocked the Church in front of the RIP door. Father opened the door and asked,
“My daughter, my name I Jon, father Jon, how can I help you?”
“Father, why don’t the daughter of father Tony and Mrs. Mallel can sleep next to her father and mother?” Liana said.
“What’s her name?”
“Candace, father,” Liana replied.
After that father Jon took Liana to a land with a lot of RIPs. He stopped in front of a RIP. An old RIP with red rusty piece and dirty. Liana asked father Jon with a surprise face,
“Father, this kid was just ten years old, why did her RIP on this bad land for evil people? What did she do?”
“She killed father Tony!”
“Why would Candace do that?”
“I have no idea, my daughter.”
That night Liana couldn’t sleep, she’s thinking about what Candace have done, and she had a feeling bad about her Molly.
The next day, Liana decided to let Molly to her grandma house and she going to fix a room to the baby. She prepared pains to restore the walls. Wide she was standing on the table, the door quietly opened and Candace walked in. Liana fell something was going to hurt her. She turned around and she saw and a flying stick hits the table! Liana fell down, she hits her head and the necklace fell down.
Michael took Liana to the hospital, after heard that news, Molly cry a lot and she have to go to the hospital to identify and make her calm. Molly cried and yelled out,
“Daddy, I made Candace hate Liana, I’ve killed the baby!”
“Molly, listen to me. It’s an accident, not you,” Michael replied.
“No, I did it, I did it…”
“Molly gets some sleep, if you are good, may be the baby could be OK,” Michael took Molly to bed and kissed her. Molly closed her eyes and said, “ I will be good for he baby, daddy!”
Michael came to Liana’s room and asked,
“Darling, don’t you feel well?”
“We lost our baby! Michael!” Liana cried.
“I know, calm down, we can have another baby. Liana!”
“Molly, how is Molly? Is she Ok?”
“Molly thinks that she had killed our baby, I think she will be OK. Get some sleep. Molly will be better tomorrow.”
Liana though “Candace all up to this. Why?” At last, she had sleep.





Then a week later. Liana had gone home but Molly didn’t. Michael didn’t go to the hospital because he had to take care of Molly. One day, he talked to Molly’s doctor. She said,
“Michael, Molly was thinking she had killed the baby but she may feel better in a few days…”
Molly opened her eyes. Those blue cold eyes and they look very mad. After a few hours later Liana and Darren came to visit Molly. She brought her Cookies and white brownies. The closed eyes of Molly opened quickly and scary.
“Mom, I’m sorry, I had killed the baby,” Molly said like a robot.
“Oh honey, that’s not your fall!” Liana sat next to Molly and kisses her hair.
“I had made Candace very mad. She supports to be my good friend.”
“Tell me how Candace dead, honey. Your friend.”
“I’m not dead mom, I’m not dead.” Molly yelled in Candace’s voice. She looked at Liana evilly and angrily.
Liana ran away and stand next to Darren.
“Molly, are you OK?” Liana asked
Then Molly looked at Liana like a robot and said softly,
“Mom, hole me, hole me.”
“Um, Molly…” Liana stepped up.
“Mom, I’m not dead, I’m not dead, and I’M NOT DEAD…” Molly yelled in Candace’s evil voice. Her eyes turned red.
“Candace! Candace!” Liana yelled.
Michael entered the room and pushed Darren and Liana out of the room. A few minute later Michael came out and he yelled,
“Liana, what are you thinking?”
“Michael, it’s not Molly. It’s Candace.”
“Go home Liana and you, you…” he pouched Darren.
“Michael, what are you thinking? I’m your wife.”
Michael walked away. Liana was very angry. Then a few doctors came with Ms. Rosa., she shouted,
“She’s a bad girl, she’s a bad girl. Meet father Jon. It in the diary in the diary. Quickly! Run if you want Molly back, run!”
Liana ran and drove back home. She found a diary under the bed in the old room. She read out loud,
“ Monday, 1st mom have a baby. Tuesday, 2nd dad wanted to kill the baby. Wednesday, 3rd I took the…what?” The third paper was very old and very hard to read.
At the hospital, “Molly” opened her eyes and she saw Michael was sleeping on her feet.
“Daddy, I hate to be here. I want to go home.” She said.
“Then that what we will do!” He took his daughter home and putted her to bed.
“Good night honey, get some sleep.” He kisses her.






Back to Liana, she drove to the hospital. She cannot find Molly and Michael then she drove as fast as she can go home.
“Daddy, wake up!” Molly whispered softly. It’s the sound of Candace.
“Molly, wait for me!” Michael replied.
“Daddy, quickly, quickly!”
“I’m coming”
Michael ran up the stair and he saw Molly with a big stick on her hand. She dropped it on Michael’s head. He slept.

Liana opened the door and walked up stair. She saw Molly, looked at her and another girl( Candace) walked and she was standing next to Molly.
“Mom, you have to understand. Dad wanted to kill the baby. I took her save far away from him and he had hanged me on the apple tree. He have to pay for it.” Candace said.
“Candace, stay away from Molly. I won’t be happy with you if you hurt her.”
Candace kicked Michael down the stairs. He stopped Liana. She held him and ran.





Molly and Candace was on the house’s roof. Candace whispered,
“Molly do you want to see your real mother? Jump and you will see her!”
Molly prepare to jump but…
“Molly, stop. Don’t listen to her, don’t jump. I love you and your dad, too. Stay with us, Molly. Don’t listen to her. She jealous with you. Come here, I’ll hold you and it’s will be ok.” Liana said softly to Molly.
“No, don’t listen to…”
Molly ran to Liana,…
“I love you, Liana.” Molly said.
“ NOooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo” Candace yelled.
They ran away from that house and never came back.
